Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon is one of the most breathtaking, stirring and peaceful jewels on earth. Located in the heart of the Navajo nation in the United States, Antelope Canyon is a narrow passage cut into the earth that expands to expose one of the most spectacular sandstone formations fashioned over millennia by water from rain. Shafts of light burst through the roof of the slot canyon allowing sunlight to ricochet off the canyon walls and illuminate its rich colours and bring to life its hidden beauty.

According to older local Navajos, legend has it that before entering Antelope Canyon they would pause to be in the right frame of mind, allowing them to leave with an uplifted feeling of what Mother Nature has to offer, and to be in harmony with something greater than themselves.  A visit to Antelope Canyon is truly a spiritual experience.
